Plum City Youth Sports/EPC Youth Sports Summer Softball is for girls in Grades 3-8.  Softball starts at the end of May and runs through the third week of July.  Plum City softball team will play teams from the surrounding area.  Coaches will determine the practice schedule.  Uniforms will be a team t-shirt (included in the registration fee), baseball pants, cleats or tennis shoes, and a glove.   We encourage a high level of sportsmanship, teamwork, and a supportive, positive environment for ALL kids.

PCYS Summer softball has 3 levels.  10u - also known as "Coaches Pitch" is for girls that are just finishing Grades 3-4.  Each team's coach pitches to his/her own players.  Games are 45 minutes, or 5 innings long, whichever comes first.  Each inning will have 3 outs, and score will be kept.   Most games are on Monday/Wednesday nights, starting at 5 PM, but mid-season tournaments may be scheduled at the coach's discretion.  At the end of the season, there will be a league tournament - generally the second Monday of July.

12U is for girls that are just finishing Grades 5-6.  This is the first level where the kids pitch to each other.  Umpires are used to determine strikes/balls, and outs.  Score is kept, and displayed.  Games are also 5 innings long, and are Monday/Wednesday night at 6 PM.  The end-of-season tournament is the second Tuesday of July, although Mid-season tournaments may be scheduled at the coach's discretion.

14U is for girls that are finishing Grades 7-8.  Games are still 5 innings, have umpires making the calls, and are Monday/Wednesday night at 7:15 PM.  The end-of-season tournament is the second Wednesday of July, although Mid-season tournaments may be scheduled at the coach's discretion.

Coaches determine practice schedules, and try to keep all players' informed as to any changes.  The home coach is in charge of calling any games due to severe weather.  Please contact your coach with any questions, or if you are unable to make games or practice.
